Goodwill store moving to town
Goodwill of the Heartland plans to open a 10,200-square-foot retail store in Fairfield.
The company intends to open its new store in the former Orscheln Farm & Home Supply building at 2005 W. Burlington Ave. next spring.
Spokeswoman Dana Engelbert said the purpose of Goodwill stores is to fund the programs and services the organization provides to those with barriers to independence. She said the company opens new stores where there is an opportunity to provide services to those individuals.
