‘Ask a PC Tech!’ at Technology Tuesday
The Fairfield Public Library’s Technology Tuesdays workshop will feature “Ask a PC Tech!” Tuesday.
Library technician Michael Cacioppo will host a free live class where participants can ask how to do anything on a personal computer.
“Come to this workshop with those pesky problems, simple or complex, that you’ve always wanted solutions to,” said Cacioppo.
The class is best suited for questions pertaining to email, Windows/Operating system, digital photos, attachments, Internet and bugs users encounter. Some software-specific questions, such as for Excel/Office products, Photoshop and others, that can’t be answered right away might have to be referenced at the end of the class.
The workshop will be about an hour long, followed by the reference session.
The workshop will be offered twice to accommodate different schedules: once from 10-11 a.m. and then again from 6-7:30 p.m. Cacioppo said there is no need to attend both workshops.
Registration requires a refundable $10 cash or check deposit, to be forfeited in the event of non-attendance.
Registrations cannot be taken by phone; stop by the library’s front desk to register.
Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
