The Red Hat Ladies of Birmingham met for lunch recently at the Village Café in Stockport. Twenty-one were present. Barb Anderson won the door prize. After lunch, several stayed and took a tour of the new apartments.
The Birmingham Lions Club will have a carry-in supper Monday at the Birmingham Lions Building. The guest speaker will be District Governor Etta Rasmussen.

Stockport’s trick-or-treat night will be from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 30. A weiner roast will be held during the trick-or-treat hours at City Park. The weiner roast is sponsored by the Stockport Masons, Stockport Fire Department, Stockport City Hall and the Stockport Lions Club.
The Stockport Public Library will be closed Oct. 29 so it can be open from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 30 for trick-or-treaters. The library will be open as usual from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 31.
B.A.T.T.L.E. youth group meets at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Stockport Methodist Church.
