Bonaparte plans its Taste of Christmas
BONAPARTE — Bonaparte Main Street’s Taste of Christmas is being held Saturday in Bonaparte.
This annual candlelight dinner and tour of homes is by reservation only.
The appetizers will be hosted in various businesses in Bonaparte’s National Historic Riverfront District starting at 4:30 p.m.
The main and dessert courses will be served as a candlelight dinner in the Whiteley Opera House Community Room. Tables are designed and set by local women who provide their own linens, China, crystal and centerpieces making each table uniquely individual. Waiters will serve the salad, main course and dessert with holiday music provided by Franny Troutman on the piano.
Following dinner, buses will run between three different homes in Bonaparte and Iron and Lace in Bentonsport, which will all be decorated for the holidays and open for tour. The homeowners include: Pat and Tom Gunn, Jean and Bill Wenke, Ellen and Mark Meek and Betty and Bill Printy at Iron and Lace. Each will be uniquely decorated.
