COUNCIL BLUFFS — Iowa Western Community College officials announced Fairfield resident Jacob Mineart was among 570 students named to the president’s honor roll due to their academic achievement during the 2014 spring term.
Students named to the president’s honor roll must be carrying at least 12 academic credit hours and attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0.
Mineart is majoring in mathematics.

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Cara Maye Goemaat and Hannah Kay Goemaat were named to the president’s list for academic achievement during the 2014 spring semester at Pensacola Christian College.
The two students were named to the president’s list for earning an “A” average.
Cara and Hannah Goemaat are the daughters of Philip L. and Norlene Goemaat of Milton.

DAVENPORT — Emily Mueller and Rachel Robinson, both of Fairfield, have been named to the St. Ambrose University dean’s list for the spring 2014 term.
Those named to the list are full-time students, who achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering and the Tippie College of Business who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or higher on 12 semester hours or more of UI graded course work during a given semester or summer session and who have no semester hours of “incomplete” or “no grade reported” during the same semester are recognized by inclusion on the dean’s list for that semester.
Undergraduate students in the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine qualify for the dean’s list with fewer than 12 semester hours of graded credit if deemed appropriate by the college.
College of Nursing students participating in clinical courses must have a total of 12 semester hours of earned credit, with eight semester hours of graded credit with a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS
ST. LOUIS — Bryan Bogaards, son of Grace and Arvin Bogaards of Fairfield, earned a graduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis May 16.
Bogaards graduated with a master of architecture.
Bogaards graduated with honors and received the Architecture Faculty Award.
Bogaards graduated with a bachelor’s from St. Olaf College in 2011.
