Cedar Rapids motorcycle crash victims identified
CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) — Authorities have released the names of two people who were killed when the motorcycle they were on struck the rear of a semitrailer in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids police identified them as 32-year-old Marc Stober and 22-year-old Amelia Kutella. Both lived in Cedar Rapids.
Police say Stober was driving the motorcycle around 1 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 380 when the bike went out of control and rammed into the back of the big rig.
Stober and Kutella were pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver wasn't injured.
