Celebrate Fairfield’s art, culture Tuesday
The Fairfield Cultural Alliance invites all culture lovers and creators to its annual Networking Gala at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at ICON Gallery.
“Come and connect with others in our community who create and support creative expression. See what’s coming up and share strategies and support,” invited Denyce Rusch, Fairfield Cultural Alliance president.
The event will feature live music from Society of Broken Souls. The local duo of Lauren and Dennis Shapter has delighted audiences around the Midwest and in Fairfield, most recently at FAIRFest this summer and Habitat for Humanity’s benefit event.
This year’s Networking Gala event also includes Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy speaking on the city’s continued support of the arts and the Fairfield Cultural District, plus, this year’s Fairfield Cultural Alliance grant recipients will speak about their upcoming projects.
The Fairfield Cultural Alliance Cultural Contribution Award will be presented to a group or individual who has made a significant contribution to Fairfield’s cultural community in 2016.
Gourmet appetizer and dessert refreshments will be served.
