Opening ceremonies and presentations are from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy is scheduled to speak and 2013 Fairfield High School graduate Forest Miller is slated to sing the national athem and “God Bless America.”
From 7:30-9:30 p.m., The Sidewinders from the Iowa Army National Guard’s 34th Army Band will be playing rock, blues and country giving a preview of their performance set for RAGBRAI’s July 26 overnight stop in Fairfield.
