The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is presenting a Business Advertising/Content Seminar from 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at Revelations Cafe & Bookstore.
Bryan Ziegler, director of the Indian Hills Community College Small Business Development Center, will be the presentor.
Ziegler has helped small businesses implement marketing and sales strategy as the director of the Indian Hills Community College Small Business Development Center for 27 years. Ziegler will use a teaching method of good content delivered in a fun format to give attendees some expert business advice on the ins and outs of advertising content.
According to the chamber, advertising is a crucial component of any business and content is the most important element of any advertising that is done. No matter what direction a business goes with its advertising, it has to develop the content for its website, brochures or media and social media advertising.
Important points covered will be: Advertising methods with emphasis on content; how to use creativity techniques to create ideas; working on wording; critiqueing headline ideas; and developing content from the customer’s viewpoint.
Registrations are encouraged. To reserve a seat, contact Lori Knox at the chamber by calling 472-2111 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Admission is free for all chamber members and $10 for nonmembers.
