Charlotte Ann Spray-Wells
Charlotte Ann Spray-Wells, 71, of Oceanside, Calif., died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at home.
No service will be held. According to her wishes, the Neptune Society Crematorium will scatter her ashes in the Pacific Ocean.
Memorials may be made to an animal shelter or Habitat for Humanity of the donor’s choice.
Mrs. Spray-Wells was born March 6, 1942, in the Hillsboro post office, the daughter of Raymond Richard Spray and Vivian Louise Thornton Spray. She married Andy Wells. She married Joseph Koon Se Dung Oct. 5, 1993.
She grew up on the George V. Leffler farm near Stockport and completed eighth grade at Frog Pond Rural School, Cedar No. 7. She attended Stockport High School and was a member of the first graduating class from Harmony High School in Farmington in l960.
She relocated to Los Angeles with her first husband in 1963.
After relocating to Oceanside, Calif., she continued her tax accountant career at G.E. Capital & Deloitte & Touche in the San Diego area, retiring in September 2009.
She and her second husband enjoyed many years of entertaining at home, traveling and attending cultural events in their community and other venues, especially the Aloha Golf Club.
She volunteered with Junior Achievement and was a Sunday school teacher.
She enjoyed her Oceanside Library life story writing class and classmates.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Dung of Oceanside, Calif.; one daughter, Andrea Wells Krysiak and spouse Stan of Erie, Pa.; one son, Bryan Wells and spouse Patty of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren; one brother, Dan Spray of Mount Pleasant; and two sisters, Christine and Jeanne Spray both of Los Angeles.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
