CLOVER KIDS

The Jefferson County Fairfield 4-H Clover Kids met 5:15-6:15 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.

The 25 members present made stand-up valentines, filled in spaces with a special message and used team work putting together heart- shaped puzzles.

Various toss games were played. The group enjoyed decorating Valentine’s Day cupcakes and had red punch to drink.

Shirley Stanley announced the Clover Kids made $140 in the 4-H Valentine’s bake sale, and presented the total amount as a fundraiser to Clover Kids member Cassidy Mallinger and her family. They lost their house in a fire Dec. 29.

Helpers for the evening activities were Karen Crossland, Phyllis Harris, Kelly Lacey, Eileen and Heather Pickard, Sherri and Sophia Mineart, Jason Steele, Leland and Shirley Stanley.

The next meeting will be 5:15-6:15 p.m. March 14 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.
