Congregate Meals: February 20-24, 2017No meal Monday at senior center
Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its congregate meals menu for the coming week.
Monday — all nutrician centers are closed in observance of Presidents’ Day.
Tuesday — chili with beans, Confetti coleslaw, Five-Cup Salad with yogurt, cornbread.
Wednesday — roast pork loin in gravy, baked potato with sour cream, sauteed zucchini, orange wedges.
Thursday — baked chicken, mashed potatoes, poultry gravy, broccoli-cauliflower-raisin salad, assorted yogurt.
Feb. 24 — beef shepard’s pie, mixed green lettuce salad with dressing, peach crisp.
Each meal includes wheat dinner roll or bread, unless another bread item is noted, margarine and skim milk.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.
Reservations for meals at the Fairfield site must be made one day in advance either at the senior center or by calling 472-4403.

For people 60 years of age and older and their spouse of any age, there is a suggested contribution based on income range. Individuals younger than 60 pay the full meal charge as posted at the meal site.
Bingo is played 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center.
Check at the meal sites for meal options, such as shelf-stable meals or frozen meals, to use on days when no meal is served at the center.
