Congregate Meals: Oct. 21-25, 2013
The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.
Monday — meatloaf, baked potato with sour cream, breaded tomatoes, peaches, orange juice.
Tuesday — creamed turkey, mashed potatoes, Green Beans Amandine, tossed lettuce salad with balsamic vinaigrette, red banana gelatin.
Wednesday — roast pork gravy, baby red potatoes, broccoli, fruit crisp.
Thursday — Chicken Alfredo, noodles, marinated carrots, bananas and oranges, ice cream cup, vegetable juice.
Oct. 25 — potato crusted fish fillet, sour cream mashed potato, spinach strawberry salad, apricot halves.
For a person 60 years old or older and his or her spouse of any age, the suggested contribution is $3.50. The suggested contributions are: $3.75 for a carry-out meal and $4 for a home-delivered meal.
An individual younger than 60 must pay the full cost of the meal.

Bingo is played from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday in Fairfield.
