The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center has listed its menu for the coming week.
Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairfield senior center and at noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lockridge senior center.
Monday — spaghetti with meat sauce, broccoli and cauliflower, spinach salad with vinegar and oil dressing, peach banana gelatin.
Tuesday — chicken salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato slice, potato salad, cucumber salad, oatmeal raisin cookie.
Wednesday — glazed pork chop, baked sweet potato half, kale/spinach, banana.
Thursday — pot roast, boiled potatoes, sautéed onions, baby carrots, sliced strawberries, vanilla ice cream cup.
Aug. 23 — baked fish, parsley noodles, lima beans, orange slices or wedges.
Milk, whole-wheat and whole-grain bread/muffins, and margarine are offered with all meals.
The menu provides a general balanced diet that meets the RDA’s/RIA’s for adults.
Meals are offered on a contribution basis for persons 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Full cost of meals is: congregate, $5.87; carryout, $6.35; home delivered, $7.73.
Reservations for meals at the Fairfield senior center must be made one day in advance either at the center or by calling 472-4403.

Bingo is played from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and the Ed Bruegge Band plays at noon the first Wednesday of every month in Fairfield.
