The following court cases were processed at Jefferson County Courthouse.

 

District Court

Corbin Alan Hardwood, 19, had his placement in the low risk program terminated because he is out of state and is now required to serve probation to the court.

 

Magistrate Court

David Eugene Pratt, 41, of 1300 W. Jackson Ave., No. 15, was fined $65 and ordered to pay restitution of $31 for theft.

Nicholas Robert Russell, 20, of Lockridge, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $147 and ordered to complete a batterer’s education program within eight months.

Holly Ann Farr, 31, of Mount Pleasant, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct and was fined $147.

Jayme Lee Liles, 30, of Batavia, pleaded guilty to two counts of contempt of court and sentenced to seven days in jail for each count to run concurrently.

Jesus Manuel Goitya, 22, of 201 South 15th St., pleaded guilty to driving while suspended and was fined $397.

 

Associate District Court

Megan Lee Swope, 19, of Agency, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated and received a deferred judgment of two days in jail. She was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days and successfully complete a drinking driver’s course. She was fined $1,250 and ordered to pay court costs and restitution. Another Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs to the defendant.

Jason Bruce Wadleigh, 29, of Las Vegas, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. He was given a deferred judgment with two years probation and ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days. He was fined $35 plus a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and orders to pay court appointed attorney costs if any and court costs. Another Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs to the defendant.

Christian Steven Tosh, 18, of 204 Hempstead Ave., Apt. A, pleaded guilty to public intoxication, a serious misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, less credit for time served. His sentence was suspended. He was given two years probation and ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days. He was fined $315 plus a 35 percent surcharge and ordered to pay restitution and court costs. Two other Jefferson County cases were dismissed with costs to defendant.

Matthew Ronald White. 19, of 801 S. Sixth St., pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. He received a deferred judgment with two years probation and was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days. He was fined $315 plus a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. He was ordered to pay court appointed attorney fees if any, restitution and court costs.
