The following court case were processed at Jefferson County Courthouse:

 

District Court

Kyle Ehret Connelly, 27, of 1547 Olive Ave., pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deliver and/or possession with intent to deliver heroin. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, which was suspended. He was placed on five years probation dependent on future good behavior. He was ordered to enroll in the residential facility in Ottumwa for one year or until maximum benefits had been realized. He remains in the custody of Jefferson County Sheriff until a bed is available at the residential facility. He must comply with evaluation and treatment recommendations. His driver’s license was revoked for 180 days. He was ordered to abstain from alcohol and not enter any taverns, liquor stores and other establishments whose primary activity is the sale of alcohol. He was fined $1,000 and ordered to pay restitution. He must submit a specimen for DNA profiling.

Kara Lynn Sanderson, 24, of Libertyville, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison; her sentence was suspended dependent on future good behavior and she was placed on five years probation. She must comply with evaluations and treatments recommended. Her driver’s license was revoked for 180 days. She was ordered to abstain from alcohol and not enter any taverns, liquor stores and other establishments whose primary activity is the sale of alcohol. She was fined $1,000 plus a $10 D.A.R. E. surcharge and a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. She was ordered to pay restitution, court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. She must submit a specimen for DNA profiling.
