Cole David Emry-Stannard, 18, of Ottumwa, pleaded guilty to public intoxication. He was fined $148.
Christian Steven Tosh, 18, of 204 E. Hempstead Ave., pleaded guilty to fifth-degree theft. He was fined $195.
Aaron Michael Price pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and received a deferred judgment. He was ordered to pay $60 in prosecution costs, court appointed attorney costs if any and court costs. He was fined a civil penalty of $65. He was ordered to complete an anger management course and was placed on six-months probation. A simple assault case was dismissed with all costs to be paid by defendant. He was ordered to pay $95 in restitution to the victim.
John Joseph Bartley Jr., 46, of Des Moines, pleaded guilty for failure to appear. He was fined $222.
Justin Wayne Haile, 20, of Ollie, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and was fined $195.
Grant Merrill, 28, of Pleasant Plain, pleaded guilty to an amended charge, a simple misdemeanor, as was sentenced to two days in jail less credit for time served.
Brock Wiereck, 30, of Pleasant Plain, was found guilty of contempt of court. He was sentenced to five days in jail; three days were suspended on condition of no further violations of the city ordinance regarding animals.
Thomas James Hahn, 21, of 900 N. Eighth St., pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was fined $168. Two other charges were dismissed.
Cynthia Lorrain Stowers, 47, of Batavia, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $148.
Associate District Court
Amber Dawn Carr, 26, of 800 S. Ninth St., Apt. 2, pleaded guilty to driving while barred, an aggravated misdemeanor. She was sentenced to 180 days in jail, less credit for time served. Her sentence was suspended. She was given two years probation, fined $625 plus a 35 percent surcharge and ordered to pay court appointed attorney fees if any and court cos
