The following court case was processed at Jefferson County Courthouse:


District Court

Andrea Monique Charett, 27, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to second-degree theft and received a deferred judgment with five years probation. She was fined $750 plus a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. She was ordered to pay pecuniary damages to Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store of $450 joint and several with Jason Salyers; and pay court costs. She was ordered to provide a specimen for DNA profiling.
