The following court cases were processed at Jefferson County Courthouse:

 

District Court

Matthew David Kaufman, 18, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deliver and possession with intent to deliver marijuana, a Class D felony. He received a deferred judgment and was placed on five years probation. He must comply with evaluation and treatment recommendations. He was ordered to abstain from all controlled substances; have no association with persons known to have criminal records or engaged in criminal activities; and to actively seek and maintain employment. He must pay restitution. He must submit to toxicology testing on request and pay all costs associated if found to be using. He was fined $750 plus a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. He was ordered to pay court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. He was ordered to provide a specimen for DNA profiling.

Austin Taylor Janssen, 25, of Fairfield pleaded guilty and received a deferred judgment for manufacture of psilocin. He was given five years probation, fined $1,000 plus a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. He was ordered to pay pecuniary damages, court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. He was ordered to provide a specimen for DNA profiling. Two other Jefferson County cases were dismissed with costs to the defendant per a plea agreement and in the interest of justice.

 

Associate District Court

Jeffrey Dale Bohenkamp pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, first offense, a serious misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, less credit for time served. His sentence may be satisfied by completion of Addiction Services OWI Combined Program. His driver’s license was revoked and he was ordered to successfully complete a drinking driver’s course. He was ordered to have a substance abuse evaluation. He was fined $1,250 plus a 35 percent surcharge, a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge and ordered to pay court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs. One other Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs per a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.

Shane Thomas Willard, 41, of Richland, violated his terms of probation granted Nov. 8, 2012, and the order of probation was revoked. He will serve the sentence of imprisonment, less credit for time served. He was ordered to pay court appointed attorney fees and court costs.

Dustin Charles Roll pleaded guilty to public intoxication, second offense and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, less credit for time served. His sentence was suspended. He was placed on two years probation, fined $315 and ordered to pay court appointed attorney fees if any. He was ordered to have a substance abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.

Peggy Ann Sidewell, 65, of Fairfield pleaded guilty and received a deferred judgment for operating while intoxicated, first offense, a serious misdemeanor. She was given two years probation and ordered to have a substance abuse evaluation. She was fined $1,250 and ordered to pay court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. One other Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs to her per a plea agreement. She was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.

Raymond Charles Rochey II, 51, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, first offense, a serious misdemeanor. He was sentenced to two days in jail, less credit for time served. His license was revoked. He was ordered to successfully complete a drinking driving course and obtain a substance abuse evaluation. He was fined $1,250 plus a 35 percent surcharge and a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge. He was ordered to pay court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. Another Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs to him per a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.

Jordan Hector Stakland, 17, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty and received a deferred judgment for past due court fines and costs and was placed on two years probation and fined $300. He was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and follow its recommendations. He was ordered to pay $315 in court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.

Kevin Wayne Franklin, 53, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, third or subsequent offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 160 days in jail, less credit for time served. His sentence was suspended. He was placed on two years probation. He was ordered to pay a $300 supervision fee; fined $625 plus a 35 percent surcharge, a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge and $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. He was ordered to pay prosecution charges, court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. His license was revoked for 180 days. Count I, public intoxication, was dismissed with costs to him per a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.

Jimmy W. Eames, 56, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, less credit for time served, all but two days was suspended. He was placed on two years probation and ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation. His license was revoked. He was fined $316 plus a 35 percent surcharge, a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge and $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. He was ordered to pay court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. Five more Jefferson County cases were dismissed with costs to him per a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.

Justin Doyle Brown, 25, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while license barred, habitual offender. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, less credit for time served, all but five days was suspended. He was placed on two years probation, fined $625 plus a 35 percent surcharge. He was ordered to pay court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. One other Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs to him per a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file.
