The following cases were judged at Jefferson County Courthouse:

Magistrate Court

Michael James Phelps, 35, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended and was fined $398.

Michael Thomas Nelson, 41, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to an amended charge and was fined $195 plus a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge.

Jack McKim Giberson, 22, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty and was find $125. His pellet gun will be returned to him after fine is paid.

Eileen Margaret Dannemann, 67, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $195.

District Court

Michael Jordon Magee, 22, violated probation and was found in contempt of court. He was ordered to serve 30 days in jail with no credit for time served. He was ordered to pay court costs, court appointed attorney fees and a $750 civil penalty and a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. He will continue probation. He was ordered to provide a specimen for DNA profiling.

Jason DeVere Pease, 26, of Fairfield, was ordered to pay court costs, restitution and court appointed attorney fees if any, but his charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed because he already pleaded guilty and had been sentenced for possession of methamphetamine.

Associate District Court

Nathalie Cruz De Andr Lima, 21, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, marijuana, a serious misdemeanor and received a deferred judgment of two years probation; was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days of judgment, pay a civil penalty of $315 plus a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge, ordered to pay court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. Another Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs to defendant. She was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.

Debra Lea Cox, 33, of Sigourney, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, methamphetamine, first offense, a serious misdemeanor and received a deferred judgment with two years probation. She was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days of judgment and follow its recommendations. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge, court appointed attorney fees if any, restitution and court costs. Two more Jefferson County cases were dismissed. She was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.
