The following court judgments were processed at the Jefferson County Clerk of Courts Office:
Michael Dean Cook, 34, of 200 N. Fourth St., Apt. 3, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $147.50.
Tim Byron Polson, 38, of 606 S. Seventh St., entered a guilty plea for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $195.
Shawn Allen Seamans, 22, of Ottumwa, pleaded guilty to interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $457 and ordered to pay restitution.
Tracy Wade Cottrell, 49, of Ottumwa, pleaded guilty to domestic abuse assault and was ordered to pay all costs, attorney fees, enroll in a Batterer’s Education program within 90 days and complete the program within nine months, and was sentenced to two days in jail.
Donna Lee Barrs, 55, of 904 W. Harrison Ave., Apt. 11, pleaded guilty to fifth degree theft. She was fined $272.50 and may work at community service to pay the fine.
Donna Marie Bell, 45, of 908 N. 10th St., pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $147.50 to be paid within 30 days.
Associate District Court
Izahia Lee Rushman, 25, of Eldon, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, first offense, a serious misdemeanor and sentenced to 30 days in jail, less credit for time served; all but two days were suspended and he was placed on two years probation. His license was revoked and he was ordered to successfully complete a drinking driver’s course, complete a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days, fined $1,250 plus a 35 percent surcharge and a $10 DARE surcharge. He was ordered to pay restitution, court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs. Two other Jefferson County court cases were dismissed with costs to the defendant.
