Fairfield High School para-educator Ruth Rippey and senior Austin Gridley count items donated for The Lord’s Cupboard. The students and staff at FHS spent the month competing to see who could collect the most items for The Lord’s Cupboard. After items were counted Friday, the faculty and staff took first place by donating 136 items. The senior class took second place while the freshmen placed third. In all, 158 items were donated to the emergency food pantry. Additionally, the faculty designated the proceeds from their Jeans Friday project to The Lords’ Cupboard. The proceeds totaled $70.28. The project was planned by the Fairfield High School Student Council.
