Danaher Oil achieves Blue Zones designation
Danaher Oil joined the 224th Engineer Battalion of the Iowa Army National Guard in becoming the second business to achieve Blue Zones Worksite designation in Fairfield.
Both sites are empowering their employees to be happier, healthier and more productive by creating healthier work environments.
Representatives from the Blue Zones Project Fairfield team and the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce presented Danaher Oil with its official Blue Zones Worksite certificate Jan. 31. Company president and Fairfield Mayor Ed Malloy expressed his pride in their achievement describing the Danaher team “as committed to Fairfield’s Blue Zones Project effort as I am.”
Danaher Oil fulfilled Blue Zones Worksite designation criteria including more than 25 percent of employees completing the Blue Zones Personal Pledge. The company has an exercise room equipped with an elliptical machine and a break room offering lots of healthy choices like fruit and granola.
