Four dancers from LeCygne Dance Academy, Sesali Martin, Sophia Mineart, Carin Corrick and Rose Rankin, participated in a ballet dance workshop led by Russian ballet drector Valery Lantratov June 29. The special class was arranged by Terry Drobny, owner of LeCygne. Lantratov demonstrated Pirouette turns, leaps and more: then guided the girls as they each accomplished the maneuvers. Lantrotov is an award-winning Moscow-born principal ballet dancer with an accomplished career: including being named first soloist in the Moscow Stanislavski Ballet. Lantrotov graduated from the Moscow Academic Choreographic College, and has toured and performed internationally, as well as being named the “People’s Artist of Russia” in 1997 by former Russian president Boris Yeltsin.
