DOT state plan ready for comments
AMES — The Iowa Department of Transportation has updated its State Management Plan, a document outlining the state’s administration of Federal Transit Administration funding under Section 5310, 5311, 5316, 5317, and 5339 programs.
This document was updated to reflect changes made as a result of the federal surface transportation authorization bill known as the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act.
The draft document can be accessed at www.iowadot.gov/transit/publications.html. Comments from the public will be accepted through March 17.
