F.A.C.T. presents ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’
It’s time to celebrate the holiday season with the Fairfield Area Community Theatre upcoming production of Barbara Robinson’s “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” according to F.A.C.T. President Tim Lantz.
The show will be performed at local church fellowship halls:
• 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at First Lutheran Church;
• 7 p.m. Dec. 6 at First Presbyterian Church; and
• 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 7 at St. Mary Catholic Church.
The fellowship hall will open 30 minutes prior to curtain for seating.
Because of limited seating in the fellowship halls, patrons can purchase tickets in advance. Depending on sales, tickets and entry may not be available at the door at the time of the performances.
Tickets are $5 and will be available at Josie Hannes Design/Flair Décor.
In the hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids — probably the most inventively awful kids in history. When the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on, there is mayhem and fun.
The show has been cast, and the rehearsals have begun under the direction of Scott Slechta, assisted by Diana Flynn.
The cast includes many area adults and children:
