Fairfield bowling awards doled out
Members of the Fairfield bowling squad have been awarded season-ending awards.
Alyssa Chatfield received the “High Average” award on the girls’ squad with a 163 average, and Gabe Hull and Mitch Goudy tied for the highest average on the boys’ squad at 173.
Jaci Bell and Jenna Nelson were named “Most Improved” with averages 29 pins above where they were last season. Wyatt Stark shot 34 pins above his average last season to also earn “Most Improved” recognition.
Additionally, the Trojans squeezed 12 onto the Southeast Conference’s all-academic list, which includes all juniors and seniors who earned a grade point average of 3.25 or higher in the most recent grading period. Recipients include seniors Jacob Adam, Randy Andermann, Wyatt Andersen, Goudy, Ben Hull, Gabe Hull, Jake Kessel, Bell, Nelson, Nicci Mellott and Kristen Terrell. Stark, a junior, also earned a spot on the list.
