Fairfield JV boys fall 67-56
The Fairfield JV boys’ basketball team scored more points Tuesday than in any other game this season, yet it also gave up more than before in a 67-56 loss to Davis County.
The Trojans had three players scoring in double-figures, including Alex Simpson with 16 points, Jordan Reid with 15 and Tanner Deao netting 12. Simpson also pulled down nine boards, and Reid and Deao combined to hit five treys.
Fairfield’s Keith Burns scored six and Landen Greiner totaled four points with two steals.
Fairfield also had a season-best 10 turnovers in the contest.
“The outcome was not what we wanted, but there was improvement in several areas,” said Fairfield coach Glenn Perkins.
The Trojans are back in action Monday at home vs. West Branch.
