Fairfield Media Center equipment available for check-out at public library
Fairfield Media Center and Fairfield Public Library have joined forces for the next three months to bring Fairfield residents the chance to check out quality video camera equipment from the library.
“With the growth of our website, www.fairfieldmediacenter.com and other sites like YouTube, people are looking for ways to capture activities on video and share it with others,” said Jason Strong, director of FMC. “This partnership with our fabulous library gives Fairfielders greater access to resources that feed their creativity.”
Now those who want to capture a sports game going on at school, make a music video or film a special talk going on that the public might have interest in, can go to the Fairfield library with a valid library card and check out one of FMC’s video cameras and tripods.
Deposits apply to all FMC equipment.
“This is just another service we offer to Fairfield residents to help their creativity flow through video” said Strong. “And after filming, FMC also makes editing computers available for those that want to learn how to edit their videos.”
In addition, FMC provides video tutorials on its website so interested people can learn camera and editing tricks at home.
