No school meals Monday in Fairfield

Fairfield Community School District has listed its lunch menu for the coming week.

Elementary schools:

Monday — no school.

Tuesday — breakfast: pancake on a stick. Lunch: meatball sub, baked beans, coleslaw, fancy pears.

Wednesday — breakfast: PBJ. Lunch: orange chicken, rice, steamed broccoli, carrot sticks, craisins.

Thursday — breakfast: cinni minis. Lunch: pizza, corn, side salad with dressing, frozen fruit cup.

Friday — breakfast: backpackers and string cheese. Lunch: Irish nachos, sassy salsa, cornbread, fresh fruit.

Breakfast at the elementary schools also includes milk, juice and fruit, and lunch includes milk.

Fairfield Middle School:

Monday — no school.

Tuesday — breakfast: pancake on a stick. Lunch: meatball sub or teriyaki chicken sub, baked beans, coleslaw, fancy pears.

Wednesday — breakfast: PBJ. Lunch: orange chicken or egg roll, rice, steamed broccoli, carrot sticks, craisins.

Thursday — breakfast: cinni minis. Lunch: pizza or salad bar, corn, side salad with dressing, frozen fruit cup.

Friday — breakfast: backpackers and string cheese. Lunch: Irish nachos, either beef and cheese or chicken and cheese, sassy salsa, cornbread, fresh fruit.

Breakfast at the middle school also includes milk, juice and fruit, and lunch includes milk.

Fairfield High School:

Monday — no school.

Tuesday — breakfast: biscuits and gravy. Lunch: Tasty Traditions: cheesy Trojan bread with marinara. Cultural Cuisine: mini corn dogs. The Sides: savory carrots, applesauce.

Wednesday — breakfast: breakfast bun. Lunch: Tasty Traditions: sloppy joes on a bun. Cultural Cuisine: pulled pork on a bun. The Sides: corn, mixed fruit.

Thursday — breakfast: blueberry bread. Lunch: taco bar. The Sides: Spanish rice, peppy pinto beans, frozen fruit cup.

Friday — breakfast: breakfast boat. Lunch: Tasty Traditions: popcorn chicken. The Grill: baked chicken. The Sides: mashed potatoes, fancy pears, homemade roll.

Breakfast includes PopTart, chocolate-chip breakfast bar, mini doughnuts, and cereal. Lunch also offers the Trojan Express with deli sandwiches, Uncrustable PBJ, chef salad with roll, fruit and yogurt box with roll. The Sides include romaine salad with dressing, fresh garden bar, fresh fruit, and milk.
