The FBLA members are fundraising for different trips and opportunities they have this year. Costs for conferences include registration fees, motel expenses and food.
The State Spring Conference in Coralville is approaching. At the conference, students take tests and compete in different speaking, salesmanship and business events to possibly quality to go on to the National Conference in Anaheim, Calif.
Fairfield’s FBLA has a strong history of success at the state competitive events in the past and hopes to do so again this year, said FBLA advisor Diane Goudy.
Goudy said the Pasta Night could turn into an annual event for the group depending on the success of this first endeavor.
