Word of Life Lutheran Church is hosting a fifth grade Halloween game night and dance, 7-10 p.m. today in the church gym. Admission is $5.

All area fifth grade youth are invited. Costumes and masks are welcome and a prize will be awarded for best costume. Costumes are optional.

Board games, a hoop shoot contest, foosball, carnival type games and guessing games will be available. Prizes are awarded throughout the evening.

Snacks will be provided as well as an open concession stand selling drinks, candy and other snacks is available. Concession prices are 25-cents to $1.

All proceeds help sponsor activities for church youth.

The event is chaperoned and the church has a policy to help protect the youth; no one leaves until a parent or guardian picks them up.

The church has an event planned each month through March for fifth graders that coincides with Fairfield Middle School dances that are for grades 6-8.
