Flower show Saturday in Keosauqua
KEOSAUQUA — The Town & Country Garden Club in Van Buren County will host its 43rd Annual Standard Flower Show Saturday at the Roberts Memorial Center in Keosauqua.
Flower show co-chairwomen Marsha Appleman and Judy Manning have everything in order awaiting exhibitors Saturday morning. Anyone, member or not, who is interested in entering vegetables or flowers can bring entries from 7-9:30 a.m. Saturday. Entry submissions is free.
The show theme will be “Fairy Tales and Fantasy Gardens,” and will feature 100 different classes of individual flowers, designs, and vegetables on display. Both adult and junior divisions are offered.
The public is invited from 1:30-3 p.m. to view all the entries, see the prize-winning displays and listen to a musical medley by Marie Bollman, Judy Gaston and Doris Secor. Admission is free.

Members will hold a sale of baked goods, flowers, vegetable and other donated items during the 1:30-3 p.m. public exhibit.
