OTTUMWA — Fairfield’s eighth-grade boys’ basketball ‘A’ team fell in overtime at Ottumwa Thursday.

Fairfield’s Cam Baumann totaled 21 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and three assists to lead the ‘A’ squad. Josh Osby scored nine points, and Kyle Roberts and Blu Schultz grabbed four rebounds each.

The Trojans lost the ‘B’ game 32-6, but the ‘C’ squad scrapped its way to a 10-2 victory. Levi Ponce paced Fairfield with four points in the ‘C’ contest.

The eighth-graders are at Washington today, then visit Fort Madison Thursday.
