Forming the foundation
Three men in the trench are building foundation forms for the addition at the north end of the Jefferson County Health Center while the fourth man cuts pieces as needed and hands them down to the men below. Growth of services provided at the Jefferson County Health Center is necessitating the expansion on the north side of the 3-year-old facility. The new space will provide additional room for the Medical Arts Clinic, out-patient clinics, the new NuCara pharmacy and more. The cost is expected to be $4.4 million. Chris Smith of Carl A. Nelson & Company of Burlington is the project manager.
