Gandy sees everyone as equals
To the editor:
Here’s why I’m voting and voting Paul Gandy for Jefferson County Supervisor.
I’m sure there are a lot of people who are tired of the election, being bombarded by calls, mail, and how negative it’s been on the national level. Some have commented that they may not even vote, but it's important to vote.
It’s a right and duty we should all exercise. You’re never too busy to vote. As a single parent who works several jobs I understand having to stretch a budget to make sure the most immediate needs are met first. Every issue is important, every cause worthy, but we need a county supervisor who will safeguard that budget to guarantee first things first, including good roads and bridges for the school buses that transport our kids, training for our county sheriff’s deputies answering the call for help from folks who live outside town, and assistance for families and veterans struggling just to pay for their daily physical, mental, and environmental health challenges.
We need a county supervisor who cares enough to put themselves in someone else’s shoes. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living, Paul sees everyone as equal. Paul’s a lawyer. Our supervisors deal with legal issues and work in the court house. It just makes sense. He makes sense for everyone. Paul Gandy will do a good job representing Jefferson County, representing us.
