ATLANTA, Ga. — Nathan Hurley of Fairfield has earned a bachelor of science in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
Hurley was among approximately 2,700 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech’s 245th commencement exercises.

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL — Two students from Fairfield have been named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
Sarah Flinspach is a student in the university’s College of Liberal Arts.
Zachary Morris is a student in the university’s College of Liberal Arts.
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.
DES MOINES — Three area residents were named to the Drake University Dean’s List for the spring 2013 semester.
Those named to the list were: Lauren Oliver of Batavia; Krystin Bradshaw of Hedrick; and Ashley Thompson of Libertyville.
Students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or above to earn the honor.
