Girls’ golf ends up sixth
DONNELLSON — The Fairfield girls’ golf team was missing two of its top golfers Saturday and settled for sixth place at a tournament hosted by Central Lee.
The Trojans ended up with a score of 500 as freshman Lindsey Repp shot a team-low 101. Senior Kristen Terrell carded a 191, and freshman Abby Adam was next lowest with a 136. Senior Claire Slechta scored a 144 to fill out Fairfield’s scorecard.
Burlington won the team title with a 377 and Mount Pleasant was seven strokes behind for second place.
