LAMONI— Several area students earned recognition on the honor roll lists for Graceland University’s 2012 fall term.
Graceland University commends students who have devoted their efforts and talents to academics. Students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average are named to the president’s list. Students with a GPA between 3.65 and 3.99 are named to the honors list. Students with a GPA between 3.25 and 3.64 are named to the dean’s list.
Tara Zwer of Brighton was named to the president’s list.
Catherine Durflinger of Cantril was named to the president’s list.
Cleuzia Navesse of Fairfield was named to the honors list.
Trey Sathoff of Fairfield was named to the dean’s list.

DES MOINES — Two area students have earned recognition for academic achievement at Grand View University for the 2012 fall semester.
Grant Liebe of Fairfield was named to the president’s list, and Veronica Payne of Fairfield was named to the dean’s list.
Students are named to the president’s list for earning a grade point average of 4.0 while carrying at least 12 hours of classes.
Students are named to the dean’s list for earning a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying at least 12 hours of classes.
NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY
MARYVILLE, Mo. — Eric Godwin of Libertyville and Colton Drish of Brighton completed requirements for degrees at the conclusion of the 2012 fall trimester at Northwest Missouri State University.
Godwin earned a bachelor of technology in agriculture.
Drish earned a bachelor of science in finance: financial management.
PELLA — Kris Muntz, a religion major at Central College from Farmington, traveled during winter break Jan. 3-12 in order to volunteer on a mission trip to McAllen, Texas.
The group of 84 students was led by the Central College campus ministries team, including Chaplain Joe Brummel, Sarah Schlager and Nick Rohner.
Muntz had the opportunity to volunteer in public schools, Habitat for Humanity houses and boarding schools for Mexican girls; serve meals at Boarder Missions; and put on kids’ carnivals in impoverished neighborhoods.
CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College has announced its president’s list, dean’s list and honor roll for the fall 2012 semester.
Dean Thomas Ekle, a sophomore business administration major from Farmington, was named to the honor roll.
Karen Elizabeth Livesay, a sophomore business administration major from Mount Sterling, was named to the president’s list.
Marshall L. Stevens, a freshman art major from Hillsboro, was named to the dean’s list.
To be named to an honors list, students must meet high academic standards established by Culver-Stockton.
President’s list students have earned a 4.0 grade point average and been enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours.
Dean’s list students have earned between a 3.5 and 3.99 GPA and were enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours, with no grade lower than a C.
Honor roll students have earned between a 3.2 and 3.49 and were enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours, with no grade lower than a C.
