Harold Dean Norton
Harold Dean Norton, 83, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Park View Care Center in Fairfield.
A funeral is at 10 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends is 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Norton was born April 27, 1930, in Wayland, the son of Floyd M. and Gladys “Hazel” Bain Norton. He married Bernice Evelyn Greiner Sept. 25, 1949, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She died April 26, 2011.
The couple lived in Lockridge for six years before moving to Fairfield in 1959.
He, his wife and family owned and operated Norton’s Service Center of Fairfield for 42 years.
He was a lifetime member of the Elks and belonged to the Eagles and Walton Club.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church.
He was a strong presence in his family, business and community.
Survivors include three children, Deborah Carlson, Richard Norton and Alan Norton and spouse Linda; four grandsons; three siblings, Dortha Landrum of Danville, Max Norton of Yarmouth and Richard Norton of Aledo, Ill.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rex Norton.
