Weegie was born on January 29, 1957 in Port Lyautey, Kenitra, Morocco to John French Jr. and Sally Simpson.
A loving and devoted wife and mother of three, Weegie’s true passion was helping people in need. Never one to do things the traditional way, she built her career healing people using the power of love and spirituality. Weegie’s love of helping people was rivaled only by her love of animals, especially her horses Big Daddy, Princess and Revel. An avid traveler, she had a special love of the Caribbean and the American Southwest. She will always be remembered for her energetic smile and contagious laugh.
Helen is survived by her husband, DeArmond Briggs of Fairfield, father John French (Jae) of New York City, daughter Rebecca McNeill Couto da Silva (Octavio) of Dallas, TX, son Jesse McNeill of New York City, daughter Kayla French of Austin, TX, granddaughter Olympia Couto of Dallas, TX, brother John French III (Valerie) of Tucson, AZ, sister Sarah Anne Weafer (Kevin) of Scituate, MA, and friends beyond count.
