Heritage Business Showcase 2013 to be held in Stockport
STOCKPORT — The inaugural Heritage Business Showcase 2013 will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Heritage Event Center in Stockport.
According to showcase organizers and event center owners Larry and Kristine Cass, the goal is to bring business owners and the buying public together in one location.
“We are fortunate to have many small businesses throughout southeast Iowa that offer a vast assortment of services and handmade products,” said Larry Cass.
Heritage Business Showcase will feature almost 40 of those southeast Iowa businesses offering unique services and products.
Some of the services and products being highlighted during the showcase include greenhouse plants, jewelry, building material supplies and specialty items, realtors, lodging, photography, small engines, fitness, tack, handbags, wine, cabinet and furniture crafting, log furniture, Red Angus cattle, automotive rebuilding, stained glass, discount groceries, Red Wing boots and much more.
Homemade ice cream will be made and sold on site by the Yoder family.
Food will be available at the Heritage Event Center concessions and the Village Cafe. A free cup of coffee and a Yoder’s Bakery doughnut will be available while supplies last beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday.
The business showcase is open to the public, and admission is free.
