Hundreds of Trojan fans turned out for the Homecoming parade in Fairfield Friday afternoon. The mid-80s temperatures were quite unusual for October. After the parade floats made their way around the square, the winning float was announced, which belonged to the senior class. The senior class’s float consisted of a Trojan football player slaying a Mount Pleasant Panther on a football field. The float accurately foretold what was to come that night as the real-life Trojans defeated the Panthers 52-21.
