Homes to be photographed in Fairfield soon
Employees of the Area 15 Regional Planning Commission will be driving around Fairfield this week and taking photos of homes and apartments.
They will do this to gauge the need for additional housing in the town – a joint effort between the commission, the city of Fairfield, the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Fairfield Economic Development Association.
Employers in the area have been asked to complete a survey about the housing needs of their employees. The data from this survey will be given to developers to encourage them to build here.
Tracy Vance, executive director of FEDA, said residents need not be alarmed when they see employees of the commission taking photos of homes.
