IM SANG ‘KIM’ ROBERTS — 1952-2016

Im Sang “Kim” Roberts, 64, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at her home in Hereford, Arizona. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cranston Family Funeral Home in Eldon, with the Rev. Mark Clark officiating. Burial will be at Fiedler Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. prior to the funeral.

Mrs. Roberts was born May 5, 1952, in Kyungsangnam-Do, South Korea, the daughter of Wae Kyong Kim and Sam Chu Pak. She married David Roberts May 30, 1974, in Seoul, Korea. Mrs. Roberts spent many years traveling with her husband during his career with the U.S. Army. She moved with her family to Korea, Germany, Fort Hood, Texas, Illinois and Arizona. They settled in Hereford, Arizona, after his retirement.

She received her citizenship on May 1, 1989.

She was a homemaker and also worked as a seamstress and in the domestic cleaning service, food service and child care fields.

Mrs. Roberts was an active member of the Sierra Vista Bethel Church.

Survivors include: her husband David Roberts of Hereford, Arizona; two sons, Daniel and James Roberts of Scottsdale, Arizona; and one sister in Korea.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Wae Kyong Kim; her mother, Sam Chu Pak; two brothers; and one sister.
