The Fairfield Golf & Country Club held its biannual food and wine fundraising event May 17 showcasing the newly opened outdoor patio located off the south end of the Great Hall. The event raised money to improve the appearance of the country club and thereby enhance the overall experience at the club. The outdoor patio, donated by a member in honor of their parents, was finished two weeks before the event. In addition to the patio, the food and wine committee and the board of drectors have been working on a “vision” for the future of the country club. The “vision” includes improving the appearance of the country club and providing the finest food and dining experience in Fairfield.
