Jet Stop stores rebranded in Fairfield, Birmingham
Jet Gas Corporation, based in Houghton, announces the recent rebranding of the Jet Stop convenience stores in Fairfield and Birmingham to the BP brand.
“The Jet Stops were both branded Phillips Conoco for years, but the BP brand has become a better fit,” said Brooke Lilley, chief operating officer of Jet Gas Corporation.
The pipeline and terminal for BP is only 20 miles away in Ottumwa and the pricing for BP was much more competitive for the company. BP has a better quality fuel which is a huge bonus also, Lilley added.
“We are able to better utilize our trucking company. We are excited to have these locations join our other BP branded sites in Burlington and our dealer sites in other surrounding towns,” Lilley said.
Jet Stop customers with Phillips cards can receive an application for a BP credit card or BP loyalty card by requesting one at the stores.
Jet Stop in Fairfield has been with Phillips Conoco since the early 1980s. Prior to that Jet Stop also operated under the DX and Sunoco brands. Jet Gas Corporation has owned and operated the location since its inception in September of 1978 as one of Fairfield’s original “convenience stores.”
