Join First National Bank in helping the Jefferson County School Supply Drive!

By First National Bank in Fairfield | Jun 27, 2011

First National Bank is partnering with SIEDA Community Action to help raise money for the Jefferson County School Supply Drive.  During the month of July, proceeds from the bank's "Jeans Fridays" program will help children in need obtain school supplies for the upcoming fall semester.

The list of needed supplies includes spiral notebooks (one subject or 3-5 subject,) pens (black, blue, red,) glue sticks, bottles of glue, erasers (not pencil top,) highlighters, #2 pencils, red checking pencils, scissors (both blunt and pointed) and Kleenex.  For the following supplies, brand names must be as follows: Crayola crayons (8-packs large or regular size and 24-packs,) Prang or Crayola water color paints, Crayola washable markers (wide and narrow tip) and Crayola colored pencils.

Every Friday, First National Bank employees can pay $5.00 in order to wear jeans to work.  The money raised from "Jeans Fridays" is donated to a different local cause each month.  The public is invited to help by making a donation of cash or supplies from the above list to the main bank at 100 E. Burlington, or the branch bank at 1900 W. Burlington.
