JV football team beats WashingtonTrojans shut out the Demons
The Fairfield JV football team defeated Washington 20-0 at Trojan Stadium on Monday.
Quarterback Cameron Baumann passed for 88 yards and ran for 95 more. A good chunk of his yardage came on two plays. He ran for a 45-yard touchdown and threw a 55-yard touchdown to Zach Martin. Tanner Deao also saw some time at quarterback and threw for 48 yards.
Lewis Thomes led the defense with seven tackles and a fumble recovery. Cody Graff had similar numbers, snatching a fumble recovery and making four tackles.
Drew Grunwald recorded six tackles. Bryce Lunsford added five stops and also had a sack.
Tristan Ledger caught an interception.
