JV girls end season with victory
The Fairfield JV girls’ basketball team wrapped up its season with a 52-29 victory over Fort Madison Friday, evening its season record at 10-10 overall.
Karley Williams scored 13 points and pulled down six rebounds to pace the Trojans, and teammate Mackenzie McClure provided 11 points and five boards. Madison Roberts scored 10 points and Mackenzie Flattery netted six.
Also for Fairfield, Lindsey Repp totaled four points and five steals, Taylor Ferrel scored five to go with two steals, and Delaney Neil contributed three points and five rebounds.
“We are very proud of how well our JV team played this season. We had so many close games this year that taught our girls how to win and never give up,” said Fairfield JV coach Jerrod Belzer. “They continued to improve both individually and collectively. We’re looking for these girls to be a big part of successful Trojan basketball in the years to come.”
